Are you a musician near east central Pennsylvania?
We would love to join forces with you!
We ’73 The American Unity Project is in the process of setting up venues for musical performances, the first one being October of 2021. We want to use music to bring people from all backgrounds together to peacefully and productively solve societal issues. We are a nonpartisan organization.
Though we don’t offer payment or compensation for expenses, there are several benefits to joining with us.
- Serve your community and nation by supporting our ideals of unity and peaceful resolutions
- Network with other musicians with the same ideals and passions
- Gain exposure through the performances
Our focus is on songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and early ’80s, as well as original music from the cast.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for dedicated cast members who share our ideals, have a passion for performing, and have time to dedicate to this project (practices will be two times monthly, broken down among cast members as needed for their specific performances).
Musicians ranging from students to seasoned professionals will all be considered.
We’re looking for all kinds of musicians to build a large ensemble band. Performers of all kinds are needed.
Lead singers, back up singers, dance performers. Soloists, duos, trios, quartets. Horns, keyboards, 1st and 2nd lead guitars, violins, bass, drums. Virtually any musical instrument will be needed, and more than one person for each instrument. There are plenty of opportunities for all!
We want a very diverse ensemble band—Rock, Country, Latino, Soul, R&B, Classical, and Bluegrass.
